Talk thirty to me!

This time that we all would like to stop seems to pass much too quickly. But there is a popular saying: ”in the 20s you learn, in the 30s life begins”. Well, last weekend I celebrated the arrival of my 30s, a new chapter that I hope will be at least as beautiful as the one that just ended.

The passage of years used to scare me and I was pretty anxious, but now I enjoy each day as it comes and I understand that age is just a number.

It’s a time to look back on the great things I’ve done and to ponder on the things I hope to do next. Plus, it’s a day to enjoy cake, gifts, fun activities, and whatever else makes us very happy. And of course the presence of friends and loved ones whom I may not see very often.

I have to admit that the cake was super delicious, although I had some emotions about the combination that I chose. But it disappeared in a second. So I think it was a great success. The same dear friends baked the cake for me as last year and it came out exactly the way I wanted.

If you are wondering why I chose the symbol of the swan for the cake, I can answer you. The main symbols carried by the swan are love, grace, purity, beauty, dreaming, balance, elegance, partnership, and transformation. I wish for all this in this new decade.

I can’t wait to see what this new year holds for me. I want it to be full of surprises, trips, and why not career advancement.
I know that this article is very short, but I wanted to share the joy and emotions with you, my readers.

See you next Sunday, at the same time with a pleasant experience I had in a beauty salon in Italy. Until then, I’m waiting for you on Instagram and Twitter to have a great time.

  1. Don’t think about age….I have shoes that are older than you! Other than some physical challenges, I love my age with all the years I can look back on for guidance and as a source of wisdom. Enjoy the adventures to come in the next phase of your life.
