Homemade lasagna

I consider the cuisine to be art and I love art. Savor each dish, feel each ingredient, and travel in a completely different universe.
Today I would like to go together in the culinary universe and rainbows on the palate, with a new delicious and easy recipe.

Without further ado, let’s move on to the list of ingredients:

  • 2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 450 g ground beef chuck
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 1/2 large bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 790 g tomato paste
  • 390 g can of crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 pinch of garlic powder and/or garlic salt
  • 1 tablespoon wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar (optional)
  • salt
  • 230 g dry lasagna noodles (unbroken)
  • 420 g ricotta cheese
  • 680 g mozzarella cheese, grated or sliced
  • 100 g freshly grated Parmesan cheese

P.S. As a personal opinion, I recommend preparing all the ingredients and all the passion for cooking in advance. Now that we have all the ingredients, let’s move on to the 4 simple steps.

STEP 1

Begin with making the sauce with ground beef, onions, and a combo of tomato sauce, bell peppers, tomato paste, and crushed tomatoes. The three kinds of tomatoes give the sauce’s incredible depth of flavor.

STEP 2

Let this mix simmer while you boil the noodles and get the cheeses ready for the magic trick.

Step 3

Now we can start the layers. A cup of meat sauce, a layer of noodles, more sauce, followed by a layer of cheese. Continue like this until everything is in place and ready for baking.

STEP 4

When it’s bubbly take it out of the oven and enjoy it.

This recipe was very requested by some of you so I hope you like it. I personally love this recipe, I tried it and it was worth it.
Next week I am waiting for you with an article with and about gentlemen, which may even be an inspiration for ladies as the season of gifts is coming. In the meantime enjoy the article, make yourself happy with this amazing recipe and I’ll see you next Sunday at 2 PM, Helsinki time.
